Srsly?!Tell not Show
This is one of the most effective flash fiction techniques. Non-flash fiction shows the event/action.
Example: The door opened with a loud creak that shattered the silence. Dust rose and cobwebs shook after remaining dormant for years.
Flash fiction minimalism tells the reader the event/action:
Example: The house was empty.
As you can see, telling, rather than showing, helps the flash fiction writer to minimalise without losing any of the plot.
