ETA: This is a great story in a lot of ways. Unfortunately, though, there are issues with the translation into English, which makes this difficult to read in places. Before you submit this into another house, it's probably a good idea to put the story through a stringent edit, using the Chicago Manual of Style as a grammar and punctuation guide. On Spec: personal rejections

Dear Kalin and YYYYY,

Thank you for submitting XXXXX to On Spec for consideration. Although we won't be including it in the magazine, we thought you might like some feedback on it:

- In many places, the writer's style is too dense. Simplify the language for ease of understanding, and make the thoughts flow in a logical fashion.
- Trim much of the philosophizing and tell the story. The protagonist doesn't really face any risks or conflict. It's a lovely idea, but it needs a much stronger plot.
